About

Hong Kong artist, Zoe Chan was working on her practice in Hong Kong and currently studying Fine Art and Art History in England. She sees herself as an earnest painter, focusing on watercolour paintings and acrylic paintings, and keeps exploring new media art, such as craft and digital art. Her works show the hidden beauty of nature by using a variety of colours and abstract shapes. She has now moved her focus to punch needle art and tufting, where she found it could speak louder than paintings and create stronger connections with the audience. She loves to imagine unique ideas and create them in real, combining art theory and the practical practices of product design to create artistic products and aiming to bring a new trend in the art and design world. The making and softness are important in her textile work which explores the relationship between art and design.
